Claire Pounder is 34, single and sponsored by the Rotary Club of Middlesbrough Erimus.Claire was raised and educated in Middlesbrough prior to attending the Chelsea College of Art and design where she attained B.A. Honours She is one of a trio of education staff at the Middlesbrough College of Modern Art (MIMA). She describes her role as building awareness of MIMA, its collections, exhibitions and the building through a varied and exciting education programme, aiming to work with a diverse and varied range of people from nurseries to lifelong learners. Talks, tours and practical sessions form part of the team's work along with workshops, symposiums and family activities. She hopes to increase her knowledge skills and understanding of her profession by studying professionals in her own field in Tennessee.Claire loves to travel and is looking forward to meeting new people in Tennessee with whom she can develop friendships.
