The team met at 5am at Newcastle Airport and after a photo call, we were underway. Safely negotiating Terminal 5 we proceeded through Chicago and on to Nashville, where we were met by an old friend Dana McClendon and members of the Rotary Club of Nashville, sporting a huge Union Jack. A beautiful sunny Nashville day, I am now settling into Dana's equally beautiful home with a beer whilst Mary Huston prepares dinner. A great start with no hitches. We are all pinching ourselves but yes it is real we are actually here!

A Long but Pleasant Journey
