Savannah
A ride out with Ron to the Pickwick Dam started the day, followed by a stop at a roadside diner which saw the team shoot the breeze with some local folk, after which we visited a tornado damaged area which actually demolished the local school.
On our way to our presentation to Savannah Rotary Club we visited the children from that school who were housed in the same church building where the Rotary Club meet.
After the meeting we toured a local sign making factory before visiting Shiloh, the site of a bloody civil war battle. A very moving place.
Tonight sees us all at my host Larry's for a BBQ. Got to go now though, the washer is calling!
